SJC at Framlingham Country Show

Last weekend, Suffolk Junior Chess ran a stand at the Framlingham Country Show to promote chess for children in Suffolk.

A giant chess set attracted lots of families and children, who solved puzzles, play games and learned the basics.

Many visitors were also fortunate to receive some top tips from Suffolk’s International Master and Women Grandmaster, Dagne Ciuksyte.

Many thanks to Dagne, Charlotte Ciuksyte and Tim Kent for running the stall and providing visitors with lots of coaching. Also, a big thanks to Ipswich Junior Chess Club for loaning the garden chess set.
