4th Bayern Munich “Reds against Racism” tournament

Recently, Suffolk Juniors teamed up with neighbouring counties to form an East Anglian team to take part in FC Bayern Munich’s annual Red’s against Racism online international chess tournament.

Before the main team tournament began, different teams introduced themselves and got to virtually meet fellow competitors from all around the world. Also, there was a special guest appearance from the President of the German Chess Federation.

Congratulations go to The Chess Academy from Hong Kong, who ended up victorious in the team event. East Anglian did really well finishing in second place just about Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen junior chess teams.
